The ‘Icarus 1’ Mobile HD production truck/ flypack hybrid is built strategically to give you options when planning your broadcast. Don't have the room for a truck? The main unit carries all the gear in a three-rack-wide configuration (equipped with wheels) making it easy to take out of the trailer and roll into the facility. Powered with a shoreline and UPS redundancy!
The main unit carries positions for a Director, Producer, TD, and Video Shader. The additional positions can be broken out and set anywhere nearby! These positions include Graphics, Replay, Audio, and Utility.

An All-In-One Powerhouse. (13 simultaneous HD/SDI inputs and 10 outputs with the ability to take in up to 1 HDMI input). Internally integrated XPression graphics and clips. Ability to upconvert your SD sources to HD. External Dashboard control system GUI runs on side PC for ease of use. 2 Full ME and 4 MiniMEs for a total of up to 16 Keyers utilizing 4 channel DVE + two chroma keyers. Support for live EDL.

Ross Rave Audio Engine
Audio
RAVE is a 48-channel audio mixer with high quality 24-bit processing. RAVE provides access to audio from embedded-SDI inputs, internal sources like XPression and XPression Clips, and even PC audio sources such as Skype. Within each SDI input, RAVE can access all 16 embedded channels (8 pairs) and assign them to available faders within the mixer.

Video Server
Mix and match real-time and rendered animation by using graphic clips rendered with the XPression Video Codec. Layer multiple clips in the same scene for dynamic compositions. With Crash Record you can grab baseband video on the fly for quick turnaround in live productions.

The Icarus 1 HD Production Unit features a full RTS digital intercom matrix with a mix of KP5032, KP4016, and DKP-4016 key panels. Integrated POTS line with talent IFBs. We also have wireless headsets that can be placed on any channel!
